    normal christian 40 day fasts.more recently attempt at juice fasting got to day five then anger!!

    healthyish.lots of oranges lots of brocolli and carrots love donuts though

    so its day two of my 30 day juice fast and im doing okay felt a little cold yesterday but im a lot better now. i eased into this fast so i suppose im experiencing the detox symptoms sooner i seem to be thinking a lot more now y’know thinking before i speak and thinking about what i just said e.t.c.hmmn guess this is what jesus meant by being concious. maybe my third eye will open lol keep ou posted. but its all green for now no fruits………………….. yet.

    hi ron thanks for the for the shout fast is going great so far . did some cardio earlier on and about 15 mins into my jumping jacks and star jumps i felt a wave of electricity move over my body im not sure if it was just blood pumping but it felt electric. i intend to do cardio and some toning everyday until the end of my fast. what are your thoughts on this can i overexercise? thanks for the good work you’re doing God bless.

    Hi ailevi, I would keep workouts under 40 mins at first. During a fast, the energy comes in short bursts. Longer workouts may have you exhausted and unable to function. I usually workout for 40 to 60 mins., 3-4 times per week for the first three weeks of a long juice fast. Then less exercise for the last week or 2. When I start eating again I will boost it back up and do more to really pack on the muscle!

    That works for me during a fast. Your body may require less or more depending on your lifestyle and metabolism. Be conservative at first, and listen to your body. Thank you for the kind words, and I am glad to be of help! Ron

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY AILEVI. Day four and feeling great had a lemon ginger herb and cayenne mix this morning ,oh yeah! this is my best fast ever.. even my partner wonders why i’m not as irritable as before..i think its cus ive got more info and im using my mind correctly.My partner’s trying to get me to eat cake though but he can stick it in the freezer i’m not stopping this for nuthin..chocolate cake or not :D

    Happy birthday. I was fasting during my birthday in March and my husband and son’s birthdays also in march. It made me realize how much we associate food with pleasure and celebrations. Keep your resolve and think of the yummy drinks you CAN have rather than what you CAN’T. Keep going!

      Hey worship girl thanks for the support ..yeah its amazing how addicted we are to food and how eating or not eating can change us (i think its more addictive than sex :D ) im not hungry, but good lord do i think about food now . I’d never made it past day five in the past so never experienced this before, its soooooo craaaazy. Just food… food …food is all i can think about .
