Fasting and Stomach Size

Fasting effects stomach size. From years of over-filling the stomach, it is no surprise that it has lost its natural elasticity resulting the bloated bellies so common in North America. There are several ways to shrink the stomach.

Shrinking Stomach Tips:

Shrinking stomach tip 1:

Shrink your stomach by reducing food intake.
Reducing you food intact to less food at each meal will help the stomach regain its elasticity. This is difficult as you do not feel full and want to continue eating. You may have to get away from the food and have another activity ready for when you have eaten the right amount. It takes at least a few weeks to shrink your stomach and months if you have badly stretched it through overeating.

Shrinking stomach tip 2:

Shrink your stomach by reducing liquid intake.
Beer drinking is probably the worst then jumbo sodas and jumbo coffees. Liquid is heavy and a quart of fluid pressing down on the stomach lining will badly stretch the stomach. Do not drink until you are bloated. Take you time. And avoid jumbos and “super sized” junk food. Be aware of how your stomach feels.

Shrinking stomach tip 3:

Shrink your stomach by fasting.
Fasting helps recover the stomach’s natural elasticity, restoring a flat stomach. After water fasting, you cannot eat big meals without feeling bloated, but that is a sign of a healthy body. Fasting, over one week is by far the best method to shrink the stomach naturally.

two will I pass out if I don’t eat on the 2nd day of work?

Today,is my day off and not working and I would like to chill out at the pool..But I’m afraid that since..I HAVE not eate bc of the fasting..I might pass out or something?

I plan on doing this only 2 days for the fact that I’m going to a family reunion in that time frame.

Look, I am 20 years old. I know I am not fat, but there is what I call “chub all over me”. Well you could call it fat. But I weigh 180 pounds at 5`10. It seems I have tried all kinds of programs to get what I want to call tone, or fit. Not looking to be the next male model for magazines, just want to be able to take my shirt off and not feel so ashamed of a flabby figure. Got any advice Doc.

I just want to add what kind of fast were you thinking. And can you mix fasts such as water and juice.

    Hi John,
Reducing fat is about reducing calories to less than your body needs. If you eat one calorie less than your body needs then it uses the bodies resources, mostly fat and glycogen stores. So to reduce weight and hold it off you need to reduce calories. That is best done through diet, exercise and fasting. Diet…. a diet low in sugar starch, fat with more fruits and veggies about %80. Fasting helps as it get you going and builds motivation. You can see the results. Exercise, needs to be part of your life till you die so it is a must to increase BSR Base Metabolic rate.
Basically you need a lifestyle change and maintain it till old age. Yes you can mix fasts and it is the best.

after comming off a 30 day fast what should you eat first

  10. Sarah says:

How long do these “fasts” usually last, I mean to work?

  11. Shante says:

    Sarah,

It depends on your body type. If you are more heavier then you will see results quicker. I fasted for 5 days and lost 12 lbs, but i was also 235 lbs. It also depends on your metabolism, if its fast or slow. So, really its up to your body. To increase weight lost, try to do an hour of walking everyday. Just a little information i got from Tom myself.

    Hope This Helps!!!
    GOOD LUCK:)

Today is the my first day water fasting. I’m really excited to finally get this started. Just a question, How do I get rid of my headache?

It’s hard to take you seriously when you misspell so much and use incorrect words. Besides, this will only shrink your actual stomach and not your belly-unless you are cutting back on calories, carbohydrates, and fats. In which case, just tell people to pick up a banana instead of fast food.
