Heli: 12 days of Juice Fasting

  • Doing 12 days of Juice Fasting. Starting November 10, 2010

  • Reasons for Fasting:
    Compulsive eating disorders, clear mind, weight loss, and energy.

  • Past Fasting Experience:
    10 day fruit and veggie fast.

  • Present Diet:
    Took a three day break from fasting, it was a bad idea so I'm fasting again...The last three days I've been eating junk food: oreos, milk, pizza, fried chicken, fried rice, cheetos, doughnuts, and pringles. Tons of horrible things, I just such a control issue.

  • Relevant Medical History:
    BMI 22

  • Present Medical Problems:
    none

  • State of Mind:
    Guilty for breaking fast and binging out. Have to do a presentation in front of the class. I feel bloated, ugly, and nasty and really do not feel like getting up in front of the class today. I'll be very happy when this day is over, the first day is always the hardest for me.

  • Limitations:
    The sky's the limits, but I battle a lot with cravings and binging.

  • Questions:
    Suggestions for compulsive eating and tendencies? I want to be free from food....

    Hi Heli
    I battled compulsive eating for years. Fasting can make it worse. Unless you gain control of your thought then fasting will only deepen the cycle. Read http://compulsive.ws and http://obesity.fasting.ws If you work on your thought life and fast the results can be amazing.
