    Hi Patrick
I had a friend cure hemorrhoids with a 30 day juice fast. Oatmeal is great for breakfast and if you ad a fruit or veggie salad you can stay cured for life.

Thank u tom for the timely advice, hemorrhoids was the motivation for starting this juice fast, and i hope to have a similar result as your friend. I would have posted earlier but for the logon and register problems i had in contacting u, and again thanks for sorting that problem for me, I have been aware of your fasting site for over a year, and it certainly motivated me for my present fast. i understand tom that u are an experienced faster, can u tell me if the hunger pangs ever entirely go? thanks.

Wow 15 days, that’s terrific! Keep up the great work and hang in there. Hopefully you are noticing some benefits so far. Indeed I feel bit out of sorts not knowing what to do with myself at lunch time or dinnertime. Please keep posting with your progress!

thank u for your comment, and yes i’am feeling alot better ,i’ m more relaxed, more energy. yes meal times are non existent, it can be difficult to cope when there is no structure to ones day, i never realised how important mealtimes are to ones daily routine, to combat this im going to bed nearly two hours earlier than normal, and I greatly look forward to the morning as i have another day behind me. when i started this fast i didn’t intend to do thirty days, but when i got to the tenth day, i decided to make a go of it, and thankfully now i’m over the halfway point. and also i’ve lost sixteen pounds in weight. from your comment i gather your fasting? let me know.

Patrick, if you juice fast, the hunger won’t leave you. Your body is still in a digestive mode. With water fasting, the hunger should leave in 2 or 3 days. I recently started a water fast and mine were gone within 24 hours. If you have been juicing, your’r probably will leave sooner than average too.

    Hi Patrick:

I understand how you feel. Now that I’m on Day #12 I still feel like i’ve missed something…I’m okay and the hunger gets better…

Keep posting … sounds like you’ve done a great job so far

Patrick… knock , knock !! Are you still there ?

  8. patrick67 says:

Beatrice yes im still around,i finished fasting dec 20th, and have no plans as yet for another fast. i see that your beginning a forty day water fast on jan 1st, why are u so hard on your-self? that’s a terribly long fast! but of course if your successful, then it’s certainly a life-time achievement? I will watch your progress reports with great interest!

  9. Beatrice says:

Ha! Ha! Ha! Congratulations :) I am glad you are still there – I did’nt know that you had actually finished. Actually, 40 days is quite long….come to think of it, but to put it into perspective, it is just 30 days and 10 extra days :-) . I have never done it but I sometimes like to challenge myself.
I will definitely do it while listening to my body.

Bye for now. Fourty days, here I come.!
