• Reasons for Fasting:
  Weight loss, detoxification, spiritual awareness, and a healthy stress-free lifestyle.

• Past Fasting Experience:
  everyday fast from sun-up to sun-down for 30 consecutive days per year as part of the muslim ritual.

• Present Diet:
  recently stopped healthy dieting and returned to binging and junk food.

• Present Medical Problems:
  Minor Thalassemia, and insulin resistance.

• State of Mind:
  determined.

• Questions:
  the one question on my mind right now is: the use of artificial sweeteners (such as sweet 'n low) yes or no?
