    Hi Lillian,
I would be slower and safer in my approach to fasting. What you are about to do is out of reach at this time as discipline is based on peace of mind and you will be fasting on toxic reserves that is very hard on the body.
Buy a juice and try 3 days and break it properly.
If you can do that you are ready for one week.
    You need to read http://obesity.fasting.ws

Day 1 is fine, I have been very cold though, because there was sudden snowfall in my area. Did get some hunger pangs in the afternoon, took a nap in the late afternoon and felt much better. Pee smells a little funny, but i guess thats ok.

Have been taking things slow and not stressing myself out, am happy for this progress. Did get some V8 vege juice for the day when i decide to take a break in the fast.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Am thinking of fasting 1 day and juicing/having high fiber healthy diet the next, then fast 2 days, break, then 3 days etc so on. to build up till 40 eventually.

Perhaps my body will acclimatize to fasting better. Feel very good after a successful fast and do not wish to dampen my mood if things fail as i am more of a newbie faster (for health reasons anyway).
