It is easy to have smooth skin without paying a fortune to buy expensive skin creams. So why spend money when you can do it in the natural way. Using natural coffee or sugar scrubs can make you years younger. One day I watched a show about an elderly lady having a chemical peel. It was almost as bad a surgery and the acid burned the skin and took off the top layer. Her face was red and blotchy for weeks. But the result was amazing. So I thought “MMM”, if looking young is all about removing the top layer of skin, then a scrub used firmly would do the same function.
First I tried a coffee scrub, using leftovers from the coffee pot. It works amazing and even better during fasting leaving the skin with a coffee aroma and a slight tan. The only problem is that it is messy. That lead to my natural scrub experiment 2, the sugar scrub.
I stared with raw brown sugar because of the mineral content and it also worked excellent. Now I use white sugar as it is not messy and disappears in the shower.
You have to rub hard especially where the wrinkles are. Close your eyes and scrub the eyelids to get rid of the saggy eyebrow look. Also under the chin to tighten this area. Daily is best. It should hurt a little. You have to get the feel of how much and how long to scrub. If you do this in combination with a juice fast the results are amazing.
Blend the egg white and honey well and then apply on the face. This makes your skin smooth and helps to reduce wrinkles.
Blend turmeric powder with milk and apply on the face. It removes the tan and helps to reduce the facial hair. Scrub it off with a good face scrub and then wash with cold water. You can also keep it overnight.
Use the juicer to make apple cucumber juice and apply a small amount to the face. Then add carrots to make a juice to drink.
Mix oatmeal and tomato juice and apply on the face. Keep it on for 20 minutes and then wash it off with cold water. It helps to remove the tan and lightens the skin.

With regards to natural skin care I have a grest recipe for a mask that I use once a week. 2 tablespoons of natural yoghurt or sour cream, one tea spoon of honey, one teaspoon of lemon juice and 2 asprins crushed to powder. Mix all the ingredients and apply to a freshly washed face, leave for twenty minutes and remove with luke warm water. For an extra boost wash face again with warm water, then cold, warm water then cold to finish and it will get the blood flowing to your face. Occasionaly I put a good quality olive oil or almond oil on after using this as it soaks right in. You will look better than any $100 facial!
It sounds like you’re creating problems yourself by trying to solve this issue instead of looking at why their is a problem in the first place. Take a look at http://www.cellulite-cream.us/.
Hi Tom,
When you scrub your face with sugar or coffee, do you use a product to scrub it with? How much sugar did you use? Did you mix it with anything else, like a lotion or something? Any additional info would be great!
Hi Tom,
I forgot to ask which works better, coffee or sugar? Also, do you use coffee grounds?
Hi Burverve
Coffee grounds are the best.
Hi Tom,
I’m new about scrubing the face so do you use dry coffee grounds with sugar and scrub it with the hand or using some type of scrub? Or do you mix it with a lotion? If you can get into detail in how to do it, I would appreciate it.
By the way, the juice fast is working great. Juice taste delicious and I don’t feel as terrible as I was doing the water fast. I recommend no more than 10 days of water fasting…I don’t know how anyone can do more than that.
thanks!
Hi Blurverve
You can use dry or used coffee grounds. It is best to wet the face first then rub in with the fingers. Water fasting is easier when you body is cleaner and also for those with a slow metabolism.
