- Tom Coghill: Vomiting is part of water fasting if your body is toxic. For that reason I recommend juice fasting for 3 days before going to water. Sure take a hot bath if you are cold or a hot shower. Cold extremities is normal also.
- Rhet: Hi everyone, Thanks for your concern, Fawn. I think the vomiting is a detox-reaction. I took in some veggie juice off and on until those nausea episodes slacked off. I just got too scared about what my heart seemed to be doing on top of it. Now I’m back on water. Hopefully the little...

Hi, I have passed blood three times in 5 minutes in February. By the time I seen a dr. it was in April and had the colonoscopy in June. They didn’t find anything at the time. Now it’s starting again. Now my tummy burns and my stomach and I’m holding my tummy. I can’t do nothing much lately. I’m in constant feeling burning in tummy and stomach. Could you please let me know what’s going on. I’m passing blood well have been but my stools this time are black before they were clear red. I’ve been vomiting and spitting blood. It kind of stopped for a reason and I was withdrawn from college and can’t go back before February. Hope to hear from you soon. What am I suppose to do? What can I do? What can happen to me in the meantime?
Sincerely yours,
Ginette Gagnon

Hi Ginette,
I am sitting with Dr. Bayawa discussing this. Sounds like a stomach ulcer. Why did they not give you a endoscopy? I think they checked the wrong end. You should have another opinion. I gave you some basics info below. Usually the stool is black as it is affected by gastric juices and the digestion in the colon. If it is red it is passing thought your digestive track very quickly.
Avoid all acid juices, avoid fried foods. You need a fast on veggie juices, using potato and cabbage. You will need some anti acids on hand.
Stomach Ulcers
What is a Stomach Ulcer?
A stomach ulcer (also called a peptic ulcer) is a small erosion (hole) in the gastrointestinal tract. The most common type, duodenal, occurs in the first 12 inches of small intestine beyond the stomach. Ulcers that form in the stomach are called gastric ulcers. An ulcer is not contagious or cancerous. Duodenal ulcer.
The direct cause of peptic ulcers is the destruction of the gastric or intestinal mucosal lining of the stomach by hydrochloric acid, an acid normally present in the digestive juices of the stomach. Infection with the bacterium Helicobacter pylori is thought to play an important role in causing both gastric and duodenal ulcers. Helicobacter pylori may be transmitted from person to person through contaminated food and water. Antibiotics are the most effective treatment for Helicobacter pylori peptic ulcers.
Injury of the gastric mucosal lining, and weakening of the mucous defenses are also responsible for gastric ulcers. Excess secretion of hydrochloric acid, genetic predisposition, and psychological stress are important contributing factors in the formation and worsening of duodenal ulcers.
Another major cause of ulcers is the chronic use of anti-inflammatory medications, such as aspirin. Cigarette smoking is also an important cause of ulcer formation and ulcer treatment failure.
Stomach Ulcer symptoms
The major symptom of an ulcer is a burning or gnawing feeling in the stomach area that lasts between 30 minutes and 3 hours. This pain is often interpreted as heartburn, indigestion or hunger. The pain usually occurs in the upper abdomen, but sometimes it may occur below the breastbone. In some individuals the pain occurs immediately after eating. In other individuals, the pain may not occur until hours after eating. The pain frequently awakens the person at night. Weeks of pain may be followed by weeks of not having pain. Pain can be relieved by drinking milk, eating, resting, or taking antacids.
Appetite and weight loss are other symptoms. Persons with duodenal ulcers may experience weight gain because the persons eats more to ease discomfort. Recurrent vomiting, black stool, blood in the stool and anemia are other symptoms.
