Malapacao Island Fasting Retreat Testimonials
No More Candida or Constipation.. Fantastic:
A massive thanks for a great stay with tremendous results. My ph is now 6.8 (YEAH!!), my tongue although a little white towards the back, is slowly improving. A dramatic improvement on my black tongue days!!! I’ve tested myself for candida and I seem to have no more. Also my laxative tea addiction is over!! YEAH, and I’m waking up naturally at 5.45am again. It seems that because my liver’s no longer struggling to detoxify a fetid, toxic system, I don’t need 10 hours sleep & then another 3 to wake up!!
Since I’m back I’m alcohol free, 90% raw food, with my garlic, onion & veggie broths for warmth. I’ve learnt lots about how to live a cleaner life. So thanks again for a great stay, you gave me time to reflect, grow & to kick start me into a better way of living. My stomach & gut is not stuffed up; I can properly run/exercise again YEAH!
Jules, Nov 07 Cleanest since Memory
Hi Leeann, I’m still feeling good and have kept off most of the weight I lost. My eyes are brightening up and skin has been clear since I left. My bowels are still gassy but I am trying to get more seaweed to help counteract this. I have introduced all my family to sauerkraut, coconut cream and seaweed dips, most of them were pleasantly surprised how good it tastes. I am almost completely raw food now with lots of dried fruit, seeds and nuts. It feels wonderful to have fully functional insides. I keep telling people that I feel the healthiest and cleanest since memory since my detox. I’m starting to explore my spirituality again too. I am looking forward to my next detox but in the meantime I will continue to look after myself. Thank you for everything, especially your patience. Lots of love, peace and gratitude..

Island Fasting Retreat Drawbacks

There is no air con, hot water, TV, banks, or stores for temptation which is really a plus . El Nido is 40 minutes away by boats which is a fishing village with 10 cars.

Retreat Review by Tom Coghill Aug 5, 2008
The Malapacao Island Detox Retreat was truly an unforgettable experience, rich in majestic island ambiance and healing. I fasted during my stay on water to get the full effect, lazing my days in a custom designed bamboo hut that was more like a hotel suite suspended in the trees overlooking 230 meters of white sandy beach.. Leeann Cruz was a delight and her impressive knowledge of herbs and detoxification procedures was an education. Every detail is paid attention to. From the petal covered beach from the boat as a welcome to the island, to the coconut drink with a petal through the straw her artistic touch transforms body detoxification into a vacation of a lifetime. Outdoor Jacuzzi baths with ginger and herbs made every care melt. The platforms for yoga and exercise were decks hovering over gigantic rocks with views of
several islands.
There were few drawbacks except for slow Internet and some mosquitoes at that time. It is easy to get to by airplane. The price of this island detox vacation is very low compared to similar centers also considering the
expenses to maintain such an island are very high. Malapacao Island represents luxury without the clutter of modern living. I give the retreat 5 stars and a thumbs up.

- Rhet: Thanks, Tom. Fawn, yes, I get insomnia a lot since fasting. I just watch TV or read, or sometimes I get up and play with the dogs. I must have a really slow metabolism, because I’m not dropping weight very fast. My body must have adjusted to the shift. Since the first few days,...
- Tom Coghill: Vomiting is part of water fasting if your body is toxic. For that reason I recommend juice fasting for 3 days before going to water. Sure take a hot bath if you are cold or a hot shower. Cold extremities is normal also.
- Rhet: Hi everyone, Thanks for your concern, Fawn. I think the vomiting is a detox-reaction. I took in some veggie juice off and on until those nausea episodes slacked off. I just got too scared about what my heart seemed to be doing on top of it. Now I’m back on water. Hopefully the little...

Boy, I sure wish I could go on one of these retreats. I was terminated from my jo9b recently and really need to hear from the Lord on direction for my life. Now that I am not working, it makes it hard to afford even simple things like juice fasing….I covet your prayers….

Hi Sheila,
The Philippines has some truly amazing areas. Much of it is sparsely populated. You can live here (basic) for $200 a month or less. We are heading out to the mountains camping and that is a very cheap vacation. To me life is appreciating what I have. I found I can be happier with less.

Hi Leeann I posted your info here as it as it is a comment. Posts are like magazine articles with pics. Yea it just gets better and better. I included you on the research page. Lets get the full info together for Stephanie and publish it.
Hello Tom,
Great news to see your new Research Center with Cecilia all coming together.
I am really excited to see and also appreciate the improvements with the Live Blood Analysis pics.
Woh this is so fantastic.Just managed to see my own blood pics last week and can now see why you
were so excited about this work.
I’m ecstatic to be in on the journey and to share it with our guests.
Stephanie called me this morning and she’s delighted to see her improvements, especially with her blood work after only just a short fast.
She was really happy to report a 16″ long live ascaris worm among other unwanted parasites
getting out after a good colonics in the clinic.
Steph’s real happy to have met you and to share her excellent Malapacao Island fasting experience and to all your fasting/ws viewers too. She’s also keen to take up a naturopathy future too.
Ah!! To see so many visitors becoming enlightened by the great benefits of fasting and cleansing.
What wonderful times it is to see so many facets’ of our holistic fasting, cleansing work all fitting together with the fruiting of ideas and networking.
Anyway hope you are finding life exactly what you are wanting it to be.
Many blessings of abundance, smiles and peace
Leeann
